In the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, as a result of the initiatives of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Hero-Arkadag, large-scale measures are being taken to build up the political, economic, cultural and humanitarian relations of our country established with the countries of the world.

Enormous work is being carried out on the scientific study and popularisation in the world of the rich literary heritage of the great philosopher of the East, the founder of Turkmen classical literature and an outstanding master of artistic words Magtymguly Fragi, who entered the treasury of world culture, on organising a wide celebration in our country and in the international arena of the 300th anniversary of the poet, conveying to the world community a collection of his poems through high-level publication in the Turkmen language and in translation into many languages of the world, on careful preservation for conveying to descendants as a valuable fount trove of the literary heritage of the pride of the nation - Magtymguly Fragi, which is very significant in further strengthening the unity of our people, on the consistent popularisation of the world fame of the classic poet.

The high esteem for the life and creative heritage of the great poet is clearly demonstrated by the establishment of the jubilee medal of Turkmenistan «Magtymguly Pyragynyň 300 ýyllygyna», the adoption of the Law of Turkmenistan «On the cultural heritage of Magtymguly Fragi», the construction of the cultural and park complex «Magtymguly Pyragy» at the foothills of the Kopetdag and a magnificent monument to the poet in the new historical epoch, and the installation of sculptures there to famous foreign poets and prose writers, philosophers confirms the commitment of our country to the friendly, fraternal and peaceful relations established with the states of the planet.

Taking into account the merits and significant contribution to strengthening the independence and international authority of our sovereign state, strengthening its partnership with countries of the world and international organisations, in declaring 2024 the Year of the great poet and philosopher of the Turkic world by the International Organisation of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY), in including the collection of manuscripts of Magtymguly Fragi in the international register of the UNESCO «Memory of the World» program and incorporating the 300th anniversary of the poet into the List of memorable dates celebrated jointly with UNESCO in 2024-2025, in the study, dissemination and popularisation of the creative heritage of Magtymguly Fragi and the affirmation of his humanistic doctrine, perpetuation on a legislative basis of the literary heritage of the poet and proposals from representatives of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, large public associations, work collectives and citizens of our country, on the occasion of the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi, as well as taking into account the decision of the Committee on International Prizes named after Magtymguly, to award the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Hero-Arkadag Berdimuhamedov Gurbanguly Malikgulyyevich the International Prize named after Magtymguly.
