On 25 November 2024, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Suhail Al Mazrouei, as well as the Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, CEO of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber.

Expressing sincere gratitude to the head of state for meeting, the ministers conveyed warm greetings and best wishes of the President of the UAE Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. It was noted that the UAE attaches great importance to the expansion of bilateral ties with Turkmenistan.

Thanking for kind words, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed greetings and best wishes to the head of the UAE and emphasized that Turkmenistan pays special attention to further development and strengthening of multilateral cooperation.

At the same time, it was noted that the Turkmen-Emirates partnership is successfully continuing in political-diplomatic vector, in trade and economic sphere, including fuel and energy complex, transport and communication sector, as well as the construction of social facilities.

During the meeting, the sides noted the closeness of positions on issues of maintaining peace, security and ensuring sustainable development. It was underlined that this serves as a solid foundation for cooperation within the framework of respected international structures, primarily the United Nations.

Special emphasis was placed on the fact that the United Arab Emirates are important trade and economic partners of Turkmenistan, as evidenced by the annual growth of bilateral trade turnover.

Noting that a number of projects have been implemented in Turkmenistan with the participation of leading companies and investment structures of the UAE, the head of state reaffirmed the readiness of the country to intensify cooperation with ADNOC.

At the end of the meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished to the UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Suhail Al Mazrouei, as well as the Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, CEO of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber sound health, prosperity and success in their responsible work.
