Today, the closing ceremony of the Days of Culture of the Russian Federation in Turkmenistan was held in the capital at the Palace of Mukams of the State Cultural Center.
One of the important spheres of Turkmen-Russian relations is cultural and humanitarian ties, which always serve as a bridge of friendship and mutual understanding, uniting nations. The wide celebration of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great turkmen poet and philosopher of the East Magtymguly Fragi was very indicative in this regard.
The current creative event is another proof of the mutual desire of our nations, connected by a common history and spiritual values, to strengthen friendship and fill the multifaceted dialogue with new content.
The day before, the Palace of Mukams hosted a sold-out concert of the State Academic Folk Dance Ensemble of Adygea "Nalmes".
As part of the creative event, the turkmen people also got acquainted with the exhibition of works of applied art "Patchwork Mosaic of Russia" and a photo exhibition that brought together the best works of photo artists.
Today, for the students of the Specialized Music boarding school at the Turkmen National Concervatory named after Maya Kulieva, the soloist of the Moscow State Academic Philharmonic, pianist, winner of the XV International Tchaikovsky Competition, laureate of all-Russian and international competitions Dmitry Masleev held a master class. Dmitry Masleev (piano) performed works by P.I. Tchaikovsky and S.V. Rachmaninov.
On the same day, a master class of soloists of the State Academic Folk Dance Ensemble of Adygea "Nalmes" was held for turkmen dance groups. The guests spoke about the features of folk stage choreography, as well as the methodology of ancient Adygea dances, compositions, dance performances with fascinating plots. The Russian National Museum of Music has prepared an exhibition "Planet of Tchaikovsky" dedicated to the work of the great Russian composer. The exposition presents unique materials from the museum's collection, including historical documents, personal belongings, photographs and musical scores. The exhibition will expand knowledge of Russian culture.
Summing up the Days of Culture of the Russian Federation in Turkmenistan, the participants of the event emphasized its role and importance in the mutual enrichment of cultures and mutual understanding of fraternal people, in expanding humanitarian dialogue.
Those gathered in the Palace of Mukams of the State Cultural Center expressed sincere gratitude to the turkmen side for the warm welcome, the opportunity to get to know modern Turkmenistan better, and to become familiar with the original national customs and traditions.
The culture of any nation is an open book of history, each page of which reflects a whole layer of spiritual and moral heritage accumulated over centuries and millennia. And our guests were able to see this for themselves by visiting museums, cultural centers and numerous attractions of Ashgabat.
Thus, the events held within the framework of the Days of Russian Culture and introducing turkmen citizens to the rich spectrum of art of a friendly country once again demonstrated the closeness of our nations and the strength of historical and spiritual ties.
