On September 26, 2024, the National Leader of Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with representatives of the world’s leading companies.  At the meetings, the guests expressed gratitude to the National Leader of Turkmen people for the personal meeting, congratulating him and all the people of Turkmenistan on the 33rd anniversary of the country’s independence.

On the same day, a meeting with Chaba Leiko, President of «John Deere» Company for Strategic Partnership Development in Central Asia was held. During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the prospects of further cooperation between Turkmenistan and this company, particularly in the field of agriculture.

It was noted that the American company is one of the long-standing and reliable partners of the agricultural-industrial complex of Turkmenistan.

Mr. Chaba Leiko confirmed the readiness of the «John Deere» company on further strengthening of mutually beneficial ties with Turkmenistan.

As the day continued, the National Leader of Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with the leaders of the «Bouygues» company, sons of the General Director - Deputy General Director of the «Bouygues» company Edward Bouygues, member of the Board of Directors of this company William Bouygues and head of the «Bouygues Batiman International» company Pierre-Eric Saint-André.

It was noted at the meeting that it was under the leadership of the National Leader of the Turkmen people that great successes were achieved, which fundamentally changed the life of Turkmenistan and gave a strong impetus to the socio-economic development of independent neutral Turkmenistan and the growth of its standing in the international arena.

Greeting the representatives of the famous French company, the National Leader of Turkmen people thanked the interlocutors for congratulations and addressed his best wishes to the General Director of «Bouygues».

Noting with satisfaction that this year marks the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s joint activities with this company, which is a long-standing and reliable business partner of Turkmenistan, the National Leader of the Turkmen people noted that over these years a wide range of architectural projects have been implemented, which have contributed to the transformation of the appearance of Ashgabat.

It was emphasized that the established fruitful bilateral ties have also contributed to the strengthening of Turkmen-French relations in general.

National Leader of Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also invited the French partners to participate in the construction and equipping of premises of the Medical Cluster in the new city of Arkadag.

The guests were particularly proud to emphasize that they had gained positive experience of working in Turkmenistan during the construction of the Oguzkent Hotel in white-marbled Ashgabat. They also noted the established constructive partnership in the implementation of large-scale projects within the framework of the national urban development program.

Turkmenistan is always open for cooperation and is ready to build partnership relations with the largest companies, which certainly includes «Bouygues», to consider new proposals for the implementation of the urban development program, said the National Leader of Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

Expressing sincere gratitude for the high trust and full support, the leadership of “Bouygues” expressed confidence in the successful continuation of productive cooperation.
