Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahallyyev and khyakims of the velayats to consider the progress of seasonal work in the agro-industrial complex and regions of the country, as well as the implementation of the National Rural Program.

The first floor was given to the khyakim of Ahal velayat S. Soltanmyradov, who reported on the state of affairs in the agricultural sector of the region.

As noted, work is currently underway to harvest cotton in the shortest possible time and without losses, while cotton harvesters and other equipment are effectively used. All necessary measures are being taken to ensure the uninterrupted delivery of harvested raw cotton to warehouses and receiving points.

Along with this, wheat sowing continues in an organized manner on the agricultural lands of the velayat. Agricultural machinery and equipment are in full operation. Vegetative irrigation is carried out on the sown areas.

On the fields sown with potatoes, vegetables, melons and other crops, care is carried out, as well as the harvesting of ripened crops.

It was informed on the progress of construction within the framework of the Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the socio-economic development of the country for 2022-2028 and the National Rural Program of facilities for various purposes planned for commissioning this year.

After hearing the report, the head of state noted that an important requirement of the day is the organized sowing of wheat and harvesting of cotton, giving the khyakim a number of specific instructions.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov also assigned to monitor the quality and timing of construction of facilities for various purposes scheduled for opening this year.

The khyakim of Balkan velayat H. Ashyrmyradov reported on the pace of seasonal work in the agricultural sector of the region. 

As noted, the necessary measures are currently being taken to ensure uninterrupted delivery of the harvested crop to cotton gins and receiving points, as well as the efficient use of cotton harvesters and equipment for transporting raw cotton.

Along with this, in order to ensure high-quality sowing of wheat, agricultural machinery and equipment are in full operation. Vegetative irrigation has begun on the sown areas to obtain uniform shoots.

In order to fulfill the tasks set by the head of state to further strengthen food abundance in the country, potato, vegetable and melon crops and other crops are being cared for.

It was reported on the pace of construction of various facilities within the framework of the National Rural Program, the commissioning of which is planned for the current year. 

Summarizing the report and emphasizing that the important season for agriculture is currently ongoing, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered to take the necessary measures for high-quality and timely sowing of wheat, as well as harvesting cotton without losses. 

At the same time, the head of state instructed to keep under constant control the pace and quality of construction of facilities within the framework of the National Rural Program, scheduled for opening this year. 

The working meeting continued with a report by the khyakim of Dashoguz velayat D. Babayev on the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns in the region.

As noted, measures are currently being taken to accelerate the pace of cotton harvesting within the established timeframe and without losses. Combines and other equipment are effectively used in the fields. Efforts are being made to ensure the smooth operation of cotton collection points.

In accordance with agricultural technology standards, wheat sowing continues in an organized manner within the established timeframe. Vegetative irrigation has begun in areas where shoots have been obtained.

Along with this, work is underway to sow winter crops, care for sown areas and harvest the grown crops, as well as prepare for rice harvesting.

In addition, the khyakim reported on the progress of construction of social and industrial facilities that are planned to be commissioned this year within the framework of the National Rural Program.

After hearing the report, the President of Turkmenistan identified the sowing of wheat in accordance with agricultural technology standards, harvesting raw cotton in the shortest possible time and without losses as one of the main tasks, giving specific instructions to the khyakim in this regard.

Also, in accordance with the country’s socio-economic development programs, the head of state ordered to control the quality of construction of buildings and structures for various purposes scheduled for commissioning this year.

Then, the khyakim of Lebap velayat M. Annanepesov reported on the pace of seasonal agricultural campaigns.

As noted, measures have been taken to organize the collection of cotton crops and their uninterrupted delivery to receiving points. Particular attention is paid to the full operation of the involved agricultural machinery.

Along with this, agricultural machinery and units are effectively used to sow wheat in accordance with agricultural standards and within the established time frame. Vegetative irrigation has begun in the fields where shoots have appeared.

Guided by the instructions of the head of state to further strengthen food abundance in the country, care for potatoes, vegetables, melons and other agricultural crops continues. At the final stage – care for rice fields. 

It was also reported on the progress of construction of social and industrial facilities, which are planned to be commissioned this year in the velayat in accordance with the National Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the transformation of social and living conditions of the population of villages, towns, etrap cities and etrap centers for the period up to 2028.

Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that it is necessary to take appropriate measures for high-quality sowing of wheat, harvesting cotton in the shortest possible time, and gave the khyakim relevant instructions in this regard.

The head of state also ordered to monitor the quality and timely execution of construction work at various facilities scheduled for commissioning this year in the velayat within the framework of the country’s socio-economic development programs.

Then, the khyakim of Mary velayat B. Orazov reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns in the region. 

As noted, measures are currently being taken in the velayat to accelerate the pace of cotton harvesting without losses, ensure uninterrupted delivery of the harvested crop to receiving points and cotton ginning plants, and ensure efficient operation of cotton harvesters and vehicles.

Along with this, wheat sowing continues in the velayat, efforts are being made to conduct this important season in a high-quality manner. Agricultural machinery deployed in the fields is used at full capacity. In order to obtain good shoots in the sown areas, the necessary agricultural work is carried out in accordance with agricultural technology standards.

Potatoes and other agricultural crops are also cared for. Inter-row cultivation, mineral fertilization, and irrigation are carried out in the fields sown with sugar beets.

It was also reported on the progress of construction of social and industrial facilities, which are planned to be commissioned this year in accordance with the National Rural Program.

After hearing the report, the head of state noted that sowing wheat within the agronomic time frame is one of the main conditions for obtaining a rich harvest in the future, and gave specific instructions to the khyakim in this regard. Along with this, the head of state gave a number of instructions on harvesting the grown cotton crop in the shortest possible time and without losses.

In addition, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the khyakim to monitor the proper and timely execution of construction work on buildings and structures for various purposes planned for commissioning this year in accordance with the National Rural Program.

Then Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahallyyev reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns in the country.

As reported, these days, cotton is being collected in the velayats on time and without loss, measures are being taken to effectively use agricultural machinery, and ensure the smooth delivery of the harvest grown by the hard work of farmers to cotton ginning enterprises.

In order to sow wheat in the country within the agro-technical timeframe and at the proper level, everything necessary is being done to ensure the proper functioning of special equipment and units, as well as to provide farmers with high-quality seeds.

Along with this, appropriate work is being carried out to fulfill the instructions of the President of Turkmenistan to grow a rich harvest of vegetables and other agricultural crops. As part of these activities, winter food crops are cared for. In Dashoguz and Lebap velayats, rice fields are cared for, in Mary velayat – sugar beets, inter-row cultivation, mineral fertilization and irrigation are carried out.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of the ongoing seasonal campaigns in agriculture and instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to monitor the implementation of work in this area at a high organizational level.

Then, the head of state, addressing the participants of the working meeting, noted that these days the sowing of wheat is in full swing, which is an important stage in the life of our grain growers. As experience shows, a rich grain harvest and, in general, ensuring food abundance in the country, increasing the well-being of the people depend on the timely and high-quality sowing campaign in accordance with agro-technical standards, the President of Turkmenistan emphasized. 

In this regard, the head of state ordered to constantly monitor the implementation of various measures to care for crops, including timely watering of wheat fields, as well as the effective use of agricultural machinery and units in this work. 

The President of Turkmenistan placed special emphasis on the fact that a responsible period has begun in the life of our cotton growers. Therefore, all measures should be taken to increase the pace of the cotton harvesting campaign in the velayats without losses and in compliance with the established deadlines, to ensure the proper operation of combines, agricultural machinery, motor transport and cotton ginning enterprises, the head of state said, giving instructions to create the necessary conditions for productive work and rest for cotton growers.

At the same time, commissions were given to carry out relevant organizational work in the velayats to plant winter potatoes, vegetables and other crops, to care for these crops taking into account agro-technical requirements, and to harvest the grown crop without losses.

In addition, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered to prepare for holding high-level events on the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the independence of the Homeland, as well as to strictly monitor the progress of construction of social and industrial facilities that are planned to be opened in the velayats this year.

At the end of the working meeting, the head of state wished its participants success in fulfilling the tasks set.
