In order to ensure the broad participation of representatives of the people in solving important issues of state and public life, strengthening the unity and cohesion of society, creatively improving the achievements in the development of national democracy, relying on the centuries-old experience of glorious ancestors in governing the state and following their wise precepts, as well as the organized holding of a meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan - the highest representative body of the interests of the people of Turkmenistan, the Presidium of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan resolves:

1. To convene the next meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan on the 24th of September, 2024 and hold it in the city of Ashgabat, in the «Maslahat köşgi» Palace.

2. To create an organizing committee for holding a high-level meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan and approve its composition.

3. The Halk Maslahaty of the velayats and the city of Ashgabat, in accordance with the Procedure for electing public representatives to the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan proposed by the Halk Maslahaty of the velayats and the city of Ashgabat, approved by Resolution of the Presidium of the Halk Maslahaty №1 «On the convening and organized holding of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan» dated on the 18th of July, 2023, shall submit to the Office of the Halk Maslahaty a list of public representatives elected to the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan from the velayats and the city of Ashgabat by the 1st of September, 2024. 

4. The Office of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, together with the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, shall provide organizational and methodological assistance to the velayat, etrap and city Halk Maslahaty in work related to the preparation and holding of a meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, and coordinate these processes.
