Today, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. 

During the meeting, a keen discussion of a wide range of cooperation issues took place, during which its key areas were specified taking into account modern realities, existing potential and plans for the future.

As was emphasized, our countries successfully and effectively interact both bilaterally and within the framework of authoritative international organizations, where they provide mutual support to each other. It was noted that Turkmenistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan demonstrate the coincidence or similarity of positions on current aspects of the regional and global agenda, which, first of all, concerns ensuring universal peace, security and sustainable development.
