Negotiations began in Ashgabat between the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the President of the Republic of Korea Yun Seok Yeol, who arrived in our country on a two-day state visit.

After the official welcoming ceremony, the parties hold a conversation in a narrow format, after which negotiations will continue in an expanded format with the participation of members of the government delegations of the two countries.

It is expected that the heads of the two states will discuss a wide range of issues of interstate interaction, specifying their priorities taking into account the realities of our time and with a view to the long term.

The first visit of President Yun Seok-yeol to Turkmenistan is considered an important event in the history of two peoples and states.

Following the results of the Turkmen-Korean negotiations at the highest level, it is planned to sign a package of bilateral documents.
