Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held an extended off-site meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers and took part in the groundbreaking ceremony for the second phase of the construction of the city of Arkadag.
Issues of further improvement of the social and living standards of the country's population were discussed at the meeting.
In continuation of the meeting, the head of state signed documents on issues of socio-economic development of the first city of state importance in Turkmenistan.
Also, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Decree on the celebration of Gurban Bayramy (Eid al-Adha) in the country on the 28th, 29th, 30th of June.
At the end of the extended meeting of the Government, the ceremony of laying the foundation stone for the second phase of the construction of the city of Arkadag took place. Also, modern vehicles that meet environmental standards were donated to the institutions of the new city - electric buses, electric cars, municipal equipment and specialized service vehicles.
Then, following the traditions of the Turkmen people, a festive sadaka (charitable celebration) was given.
