On the 23rd of May in the capital of a friendly state is the second day of the Days of Culture of Turkmenistan in Romania.

The huge interest shown in Romania to our country was visually confirmed at the exhibition, where the exhibits of the State Museum of the State Cultural Centre of Turkmenistan were presented, telling about the richness of national traditions. Numerous guests who came to meet with the art of our people were shown a unique collection that reflected the development of decorative, applied and fine arts.

A special place in the exposition is given to the books of the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov «Turkmenistan - the heart of the Great Silk Road», «Living Legend», «Turkmen Alabay», «Bereketli türkmen saçagy», «Music of the world, music of friendship and brotherhood».

Each of the exhibits of the current exhibition in Bucharest seemed to invite visitors to a dialogue about enduring and eternal values. This mood was supported by national melodies and songs performed by Turkmen musicians in the hall.

The visitors are also presented with paintings that introduce the fine arts of Turkmenistan. The photographs included in the exposition tell about our country, living in a new historical era in the dynamics of progressive changes, the unique nature of the Motherland, its ancient monuments and modern architectural sights, the national treasure - the Ahal-Teke horses.

The program of the second day also included the screening of the film «Istärin» by the Oguzhan Turkmenfilm Association, which tells about the life and work of the great son of the Turkmen people Magtymguly Pyragy. The work of Turkmen filmmakers was presented at prestigious film festivals, including the Central Asian Film Festival, held in April this year in the Republic of Korea.

An excellent addition to the extensive program of the Days of Culture of our country in Bucharest was a colorful show of the original collection of national costumes. It should be noted that the work of Turkmen designers has repeatedly been highly appreciated by authoritative fashion experts, including European ones.

Also, on this day, a meeting was held with representatives of the delegation of Turkmenistan at the Ministry of Culture of Romania, during which the parties, noting the success of the creative forum taking place these days, spoke in favour of further active promotion of cultural and humanitarian ties between the two countries.

A familiarization tour of Bucharest was organized for the Turkmen delegation with a visit to the National Museum of the village named after Dmitry Gusti, which was founded in 1936 and is the first open-air museum in the country.
