Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has held a working meeting via a digital system with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers A. Yazmyradov, who is in charge of the agro-industrial complex, and the hyakims of velayats to consider issues related to development of the agricultural sector and the progress of seasonal field campaigns.

The floor was first given to the Akhal Velayat Khyakim Ya. Gurbanov, who reported on the state of affairs in the fields of the region.

These days, cotton fields treatment is under way, in particular, irrigation, inter-row cultivation, thinning and weeding, while machinery and equipment are operated at full capacity.

At the same time, care for wheat crops continues. In order to organize and timely complete harvesting, grain harvesters, collection points, and vehicles are actively brought to readiness.

Guided by the objectives set by the President of the country to fully provide the population with agricultural products, potatoes, onions and other crops are cared for in the velayat. Measures are also taken to successfully complete the cocoons production season.

The President of the country ordered to take control over the quality and deadlines of building various facilities and engineering structures under the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country and the National Rural Program, to be commissioned this year.

Then the Balkan Velayat Khyakim T. Atahallyev reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural work in the fields of the region.

As was reported, proper cotton crops treatment care is under way, in particular, irrigation, inter-row cultivation and weeding, while machinery and equipment are operated at full capacity.

Wheat care is carried out in accordance with the agro-technical requirements and terms. At the same time, activities are in progress for preparing grain harvesters, collection points, and vehicles for transporting harvest.

Treatment work in the plantations of potatoes, onions and other crops also continues in the region. Measures are taken to successfully fulfill the cocoon production plan.

Having heard the report, the President specified that the future harvests depend on the current progress of agricultural campaigns, emphasizing that they must be carried out taking into account the agro-technical requirements and terms, and most importantly, with high quality.

The head of state instructed the khyakim to speed up care for cotton, potatoes, onions and other crops. This work must be carried out in compliance with the agro-technical requirements, and within the scheduled time frame. The cocoons production must also be approached in an organized manner, the President of the country said and gave a number of specific instructions.

The President ordered to control the quality and deadlines of the construction of social and industrial facilities under the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country in 2022–2028 and the National Rural Program, to be put into operation this year.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of the successful implementation of the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country and ordered to control the quality and timeliness of construction work at various facilities scheduled for commissioning in the velayat this year.

Focusing on the need for successful implementation of the provisions specified in the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country, Head of State Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered to ensure the completion of the construction of facilities scheduled for opening this year according to the relevant requirements and schedule.

The report was given that the treatment of wheat fields is at the stage of completion, in particular, the final vegetative irrigation is carried out taking into account the agro-technical requirements. Combine harvesters, vehicles, collection points are also prepared for the upcoming harvest. All these measures will make it possible to complete the grain harvest in an organized manner.

Along with this, in the fields sown to cotton, vegetative irrigation is carried out according to the agro-technical requirements and terms, as well as inter-row cultivation in germination areas, thinning and weeding, using appropriate machines and equipment.

Guided by the objectives set by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to increase the production of agricultural crops and saturate the domestic market with them, care for potatoes and other crops continues in the regions. Everything necessary is also done for the successful completion of the silkworm cocoons production season and the fulfillment of the plan.

Having heard the report, and pointing out the importance of the organized completion of seasonal field work according to schedule, the head of state ordered to keep under control the compliance with agro-technical standards when caring for cotton and wheat.

The Deputy Prime Minister was also instructed to take all measures for the optimal conduct of the grain harvest campaign.

Addressing the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers in charge of the agro-industrial complex and the governors of regions, the President of the country drew attention to the importance of the agricultural campaigns launched these days, ordering them to be carried out in strict accordance with the agro-technical requirements.
