President Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent sincere congratulations to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the occasion of the successful holding of a referendum on amendments and additions to the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
In his message, the head of state emphasized that the active participation of the citizens of Uzbekistan in the referendum, which took place in an atmosphere of openness and on the basis of democratic principles, is a clear indicator of the unity of the people and a broad understanding of the timeliness of the implementation of reforms, full support for the state policy implemented by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
Expressing his firm conviction that the new version of the Basic Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan would continue to contribute to the progressive development of the country, improve the well-being of the people and effectively solve the urgent problems of our time, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, taking the opportunity, reaffirmed Turkmenistan's commitment to further expand the traditionally friendly, strategic Turkmen- Uzbek partnership.
The head of state also expressed his wishes to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev for good health, well-being and success in responsible state activities, and peace and prosperity to the fraternal people of Uzbekistan.
