The President of Turkmenistan held a working meeting via a digital system

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has held a working meeting via a digital system with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers A. Yazmyradov, who is in charge of the agro-industrial sector, and the khyakims of velayats. The agenda included issues related to conducting seasonal field campaigns in the country.

First the floor was given to Akhal Velayat Khyakim Ya. Gurbanov, who reported on the progress of agricultural activities and the implementation of provisions specified in the National Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the transformation of the social and living conditions of the population of villages, towns, etrap cities and etrap centers for the period up to 2028.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov focused on the importance of high-quality and timely completion of agricultural works, which will lay the foundation for a bounteous harvest.

Further, Balkan Velayat Khyakim T. Atahallyev reported on the dynamics of seasonal work in the agricultural lands of the region.

Summing up the report and emphasizing the need for a responsible and integrated approach to carrying out seasonal field works, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed to keep control over the care of wheat crops in accordance with the set deadlines.

The working meeting via a digital system was continued with the report of Dashoguz Velayat Khyakim N. Nazarmyradov.

As was reported, seasonal agricultural work, including wheat care, plowing and leveling land for cotton sowing, soil washing, as well as preparation for spring planting of seedlings, are carried out in the fields of the northern region of the country in strict accordance with agro-technical standards.

In this regard, the head of state gave specific instructions to the khyakim regarding control over the progress of land plowing and leveling for cotton, and planting early potatoes and other vegetables, watermelons, melons and gourds within agro-technical terms.

Then Lebap Velayat Khyakim Sh. Amangeldiev reported on the progress of seasonal field work, as well as the fulfillment of the objectives provided for by the Program for Socio-Economic Development of the Country and the National Rural Program for the transformation of the social and living conditions of the population of villages, towns, etrap cities and etrap centers.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov pointed out that the completion of field work within agro-technical terms is a guarantee of future bounteous harvests. Highlighting the importance of increasing the rate of land preparation for cotton sowing, the head of state gave a number of instructions to the khyakim to keep these works under strict control.

Then Mary Velayat Khyakim D. Annaberdiev reported on the situation in the fields of the region, as well as on the implementation of the provisions contained in the National Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the transformation of the social and living conditions of the population of villages, towns, etrap cities and etrap centers for the period up to 2028.

Emphasizing that work in wheat fields must be carried out in strict accordance with agro-technical standards, and the planting of vegetables, watermelons, melons and gourds must be conducted in an organized manner, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov gave the khyakim a number of instructions.

Then Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers A. Yazmyradov reported on the seasonal field work ongoing in the regions of the country.

As was reported, at present, wheat crops are cared for in all velayats, in particular, the application of mineral fertilizers and irrigation of lands.

Much work is carried out to lay the foundation for the future cotton harvest, including land plowing and leveling. Along with this, work is well under way to prepare machinery and units to be operated during the spring sowing of cotton, and the harvesting of grain.

The planting of early potatoes and onions is in progress, the soil is treated for sowing other vegetables, watermelons, melons and gourds. On the eve of the spring trees planting campaign, which will take place throughout the country, seedlings are selected and planting sites are outlined.

The report of the vice-premier included information on the preparation of livestock farms in the regions for the lambing campaign, as well as the measures being taken to improve water supply in the country.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov stressed that a responsible time is coming in the agricultural sector, and therefore the most important requirement of today is to complete all field work, especially wheat care, in strict accordance with agro-technical standards.

The head of state instructed the vice-premier to control issues related to the planting of potatoes, vegetables, watermelons, melons and gourds, as well as preparations for cotton sowing.

Addressing the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, in charge of the agro-industrial complex, and the hyakims of velayats, the President of Turkmenistan gave relevant instructions to prepare seedlings of deciduous, coniferous and fruit trees, and grapes for the spring planting campaign, identify sites for planting thereof. The head of state pointed out the need for strict control over the wheat care work, preparations for the sowing of cotton, as well as for the lambing campaign in the livestock farms of the regions.

Concluding the working meeting via a digital system, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished the participants sound health and great success in their activities for a happy and prosperous life of the people of Turkmenistan.
