Today, National leader of Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at the instruction of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov visited the Embassy of the Republic of Turkiye in Ashgabat to convey his condolences to representatives of the brotherly country. Hero Arkadag conveyed words of sincere sympathy and support at this hard moment to the relatives and close people of the deceased and wished the suffered soonest recovery.

Having arrived in the Embassy of the Republic of Turkiye, the National leader of Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan talked to the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkiye in Turkmenistan, Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, minister of foreign affairs and mufti of the country. Having noted that to express sympathy with the brotherly people in this uneasy time is one of the features typical of Turkmen people, Arkadag said that life experience of long years displayed how words of support are important for raising the human spirit.

In the course of their entire history, Turkmens have built relations with brotherly countries on the basis of noble principles of friendship and mutual support extending a helping hand at difficult moments. Good traditions passed from generation to generation at present are developed in accordance with the spirit of time. 

Arkadag marked with sorrow that natural calamity broke out in Turkiye took away numerous victims and caused injuries as well as large-scale destruction. Hero Arkadag also made a note in the book of condolences in which he expressed words of deep sympathy and support to Turkish people, who suffered from natural calamity as well as eternity to Turkmen-Turkish relations of friendship and brotherhood.

The National leader of Turkmen people expressed his deep sorrow that a great tragedy took place in Turkiye, that natural disaster took away numerous human victims and left thousands of people injured. On behalf of Turkmen people, Arkadag expressed his condolences to head of the Turkish state Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, all Turkish people saying that “what is to be cannot be avoided” and also pointed out that among those, who faced this natural disaster, are also our citizens. 

Having underlined that our state is a reliable support for its every citizen, Arkadag said that if any problem arises, necessary support would be given through relevant institutions. 

Hero Arkadag on behalf of people and President of the country as well as on his own behalf expressed his condolences to the relatives and close people of the deceased and prayed the Almighty for the repose of their souls in paradise.

National leader of Turkmen people noted that soon in the memorial complex “Halk hakydasy” the sadaka will be given in memory of the deceased.

Then, the mufti of Turkmenistan read prayer in memory of the deceased.

At present, humane principles of ancestors are developed worthily in the country. It is one of the important areas of state policy initiated by National leader of Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and implemented successfully into practice by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. In this connection, Arkadag expressed confidence that cooperation with the brotherly country will further develop due to joint efforts of Arkadagly Serdar and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Having pointed out commonality of history and traditions of two friendly peoples, Hero Arkadag said that the brotherly Turkish people in this uneasy time would be given necessary help. Having recalled a wised Turkmen saying “Standing shoulder to shoulder, you will never fall“, Arkadag once again conveyed words of deep sympathy on behalf of Turkmenistan.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkiye in Turkmenistan Togan Oral on behalf of Turkish people and Government as well as on his own behalf expressed his sincere acknowledgment to National leader of Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for having found time to arrive in the Embassy and at this uneasy moment expressed his words of support to the Turkish people, saying that he will convey words of sympathy to President of the Republic of Turkiye. Arrival of Hero Arkadag in the Embassy and words of deep sympathy expressed by him is a great honour for Turkish people, the Ambassador said.

Having marked that support given nowadays to reconstruct destructed areas caused by natural calamity serves a clear example of adherence of Turkmenistan to the cause of peace and humanism, Hero Arkadag wished spiritual perseverance to Turkish people and left the place.
