President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on behalf of the people and government of Turkmenistan as well as on his own behalf sent his sincere congratulations and best wishes to President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and all brotherly people of the country on the occasion of the 30^th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Tajikistan.

In his message, the head of Turkmenistan noted that “all these years our interaction has been actively developed and continues to be strengthened steadily. Efficient mechanisms of cooperation were established in various areas, a solid legal basis was laid, and fruitful contacts are maintained at intergovernmental and interdepartmental levels.

“At present, Turkmen-Tajik trade and economic partnership is developed dynamically, interaction in cultural, scientific, educational spheres are expanded and interparliamentary relations are also intensified”.

Having underlined readiness for further cooperation and joining of common efforts to bring bilateral relations out to a qualitatively new level, the President of Turkmenistan expressed confidence that based on the firm mutual goodwill of the sides, the traditionally friendly interstate dialogue will be further strengthened successfully for the benefit of our peoples.

Availing of the present opportunity, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov thanked President Emomali Rahmon for his great personal attention to the development of Turkmen-Tajik partnership and wished him sincerely sound health and great successes in his state activity for the progress and prosperity of the brotherly people of the Republic of Tajikistan.
