Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting via the digital system with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers A.Yazmyradov, who oversees the agro-industrial complex, and velayats’ khyakims, to consider the dynamics of seasonal work in the regions and issues of the development of agriculture of the country.

The first floor was given to the khyakim of Akhal velayat Ya.Gurbanov, who reported on the pace of field campaigns, including the care of wheat crops, as well as preparations for the celebration of the New Year.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the importance of compliance with the norms of agricultural technology in the implementation of seasonal field work and gave khyakim a number of instructions on the proper preparation of land for sowing cotton next year, repair of agricultural machinery and equipment.

Then the head of Balkan velayat T.Atakhallyev made a speech, who reported on the progress of seasonal field work in the western region of the country.

After hearing the report, the President of the country stressed the importance of carrying out seasonal field work in accordance with the norms of agricultural technology, including the care of wheat crops, and gave khyakim a number of commissions.

The head of state also ordered to keep under control the plowing of the lands allocated for the sowing of cotton next year.

The working meeting via the digital system continued with the report of the khyakim of Dashoguz velayat N.Nazarmyradov on the progress of seasonal field campaigns in the northern region of the country.

Currently, measures are being taken to take care of wheat crops in accordance with agrotechnical standards, machinery and equipment are working smoothly, and plowing of land for sowing cotton next year is being carried out.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered to keep under strict control the work of caring for wheat crops in accordance with agrotechnical requirements, to responsibly approach the issues of preparing New Year’s events and providing food products to shops and markets of the region on holidays.

Then the khyakim of Lebap velayat Sh.Amangeldiev reported on the ongoing seasonal field campaigns, as well as on preparations for the New Year holiday.

The head of the regional administration also reported on the efforts being made to ensure uninterrupted supply of heat, water, electricity and gas to residential buildings and social buildings.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov focused on the importance of ongoing agricultural work and ordered to take them under strict control, including the plowing in agrotechnical terms of the lands allocated for the next year’s cotton harvest, as well as the repair of machinery and equipment, giving specific instructions to the khyakim.

Then khyakim of Mary velayat D.Annaberdiyev reported on the progress of agricultural work and preparations for the New Year celebrations.

Currently, the region is plowing land for sowing cotton next year, repairing machinery and equipment that will be involved in the spring campaign.

The head of state noted the need to take care of wheat crops in accordance with the rules of agricultural technology and assigned the khyakim to keep this issue under strict control.

Then Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers A.Yazmyradov reported on the pace of seasonal agricultural work in the regions of the country.

As noted, these days wheat fields are being cared for, in particular, vegetative watering, mineral fertilizing.

The land is also being prepared for the spring sowing of cotton and other agricultural crops. Along with this, measures are being taken to repair agricultural machinery and equipment, to maintain them in good condition.

The Deputy Prime Minister reported that sugar beet harvesting continues in Balkan and Mary velayats, according to the planned schedule, water is being accumulated in the country’s reservoirs.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov focused on the challenges facing the agricultural sector of the national economy and stressed the need to implement current seasonal agricultural campaigns taking into account the requirements of agricultural technology.

Addressing the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers being in charge of the agro-industrial complex and the khyakims of the velayats, the country’s President noted the need for seasonal agricultural work, in particular, wheat care, plowing fields for next year’s cotton harvest in accordance with the norms of agricultural technology, as well as a responsible approach to the successful implementation of tasks and gave specific instructions.

The head of state instructed to conduct a complete census of the population and housing stock at a high level in the regions of the country.

In addition, the khyakims of the velayats were instructed to take measures to ensure the proper functioning of heating systems in residential buildings and other social facilities, uninterrupted supply of electricity, water and natural gas.

Concluding the working meeting via the digital system, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished the participants good health and success in large-scale activities aimed at ensuring the well-being of the people and the prosperity of the Homeland.
