Turkmenistan will provide humanitarian assistance to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan

Guided by the age-old principles of goodwill and humanism of the Turkmen people, in order to provide humanitarian assistance to the friendly Pakistani people in the context of the natural disasters taking place in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in September 2022, which led to numerous casualties, injuries and large-scale destruction, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Order, in accordance with by which the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, the Ministry of Textiles, the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs are ordered to donate to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan the relevant medicinal and medical products, goods and food products as humanitarian assistance.

The document also instructs the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to organize the dispatch and transfer of humanitarian cargo to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in September 2022.
