The festival “Turkmen theatrical art” ended in the capital today. The final chord of the creative review was a celebration held at the Main Drama Theater named after Saparmurat Turkmenbashi the Great.
For four days, Ashgabat residents and guests of the Turkmen capital enjoyed a sparkling, full of scenic discoveries, a holiday of friendship and creativity. The festival program included productions of various genres by the leading theater groups of our country, created on the basis of plots or based on the deeply meaningful works of the Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, full of philosophical reflections on the fate and future of the beloved Fatherland.
During the meeting and meetings held within the framework of the festival, modern trends and prospects for the development of domestic theatrical art, its role in preserving the national culture, in passing on the spiritual heritage to future generations, and patriotic and aesthetic education of the youth were discussed.
Particular attention was paid to the contribution of outstanding artists of the past to the development of the country's theatrical art, which President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted in his Address to the festival participants. These are Aman Kulmammedov, Bazar Amanov, Alty Garlyev, Mukhammet Cherkezov, Sabir Atayeva, Sona and Surai Muradovs, Artyk Dzhallyev, Ata Dovletov, Hommat Mulluk and others.
Representatives of all theater groups take the stage to the applause of the participants of the celebration.
Well-known representatives of the theatrical art of the country, who are respectfully called “khalipa” by the people, spoke with words of gratitude to the head of state, organizers and all participants of the forum.
Then there was a solemn ceremony of rewarding the participants of the creative review. The first place, according to the competent jury, is awarded to the staff of the Main Drama Theater of Turkmenistan named after Saparmurat Turkmenbashi the Great for the production of “Watan buýsanjy - Jelaleddin soltan”. The performance “Nuhuň gämisi” by the Magtymguly National Music and Drama Theater won the second place. The third place was taken by the artists of the National Drama Theater named after Alp Arslan with the production of “Türkmeniň ýoly”.
The winners were presented with commemorative cups of the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan, gifts and bright bouquets of flowers.
Also diplomas in special nominations and gifts were given to the best male, female and children's roles, the best script, musical arrangement, directorial and scenographic work.
In addition, a number of artists were awarded incentive prizes.
All participants of the festival, including schoolchildren involved in performances, were awarded certificates of honor from the Ministry of Culture of the country.
At the end of the celebration, a patriotic song glorifying peace and friendship reigning in the ancient and eternally young Turkmen land thanks to the progressive policy of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the Hero-Arkadag sounded with inspiration under the theatrical vaults.
The participants of the festival “Turkmen theatrical art” accepted the Letter of gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, in which they expressed the deep gratitude to the head of the Turkmen state for his tireless concern for the development of national culture, creation of favorable conditions in the country for all-round creative activity.
