On October 26, the State Library of the State Cultural Center hosted solemn presentation of the Russian edition of the book by President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov “Music of Peace, Music of Friendship and Brotherhood”, which tells about the great Turkmen musician Shukur Bakhshi. The day before the Head of Turkmenistan received the Head of the Russian company “ARETI” Igor Makarov who arrived in our country to participate in the festive celebrations on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Independence of Motherland. At the meeting, the guest presented the Head of the State Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov, the first copy of the Russian edition of his book “Music of Peace, Music of Friendship and Brotherhood”. Expressing gratitude to the Head of the company, the nation’s Leader noted that the entire edition of four thousand copies translated into Russian language would be given to the libraries of the country. Presentation was preceded by a Book Fair, held in the lobby, which widely represented the scientific, popular science and literary works of the Turkmen Leader. A place of honor is given to the new book “Music of Peace, Music of Friendship and Brotherhood”. Then, it was held a meeting with participation of representatives of various ministries, departments and agencies, celebrities and masters of Arts and mass media. At the presentation were read excerpts from the book “Music of Peace, Music of Friendship and Brotherhood”, filled with the sense of indissoluble connection of times and generations, history and present day of the Turkmen culture.
