A meeting of voters with the candidate for the post of President of Turkmenistan from the Agrarian Party, Deputy Hyakim of Mary velayat, Agadzhan Bekmyradov, was held today in the House of Culture of the city of Annau, Ak Bugday etrap, Ahal velayat,

Having opened the meeting, the chairman of the Ahal velayat committee of the Agrarian Party S. Begmyradov gave the floor to the confidant of the candidate, a resident of the velayat T. Byashimov. Having told about the main milestones of the candidate's biography, he noted his human, business and professional qualities, work experience in public organizations and local executive authorities.

In turn, A. Bekmyradov, outlining his election program, stressed that he intends to continue the implementation of the progressive reforms launched in the country and large-scale socio-economic reforms designed to strengthen the economic power of the Motherland and ensure a high level of well-being of the Turkmen people.

The candidate assured that this constructive course would be continued. Much attention will be paid to further modernization of all sectors of the economy, including agriculture, environmental protection, increasing the efficiency of the processing sector of the agro-industrial complex, and strengthening the country's food security.

Work will continue on the development of industrial sectors, education, healthcare, physical culture and sports, as well as on the construction of housing and roads. Particular importance will be attached to ensuring a high standard of living for the people and educating the rising generation.

Answering voters' questions, the candidate from the Agrarian Party spoke in detail about the prospects for the development of the domestic agro-industrial complex, the construction industry, as well as education, healthcare, and sports.

A. Bekmyradov assured that if he is elected President of Turkmenistan, he will apply all his strength, knowledge and experience to justify the high confidence placed in him.

In the second half of the day, the election campaign in Ahal velayat was continued by the meeting of voters with the candidate for the post of President of Turkmenistan from the Party of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Babamyrat Meredov.

Deputy Chairman of the Ahal Velayat Committee of the Party of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs D. Ataev, opening the meeting, gave the floor to the confidant of the candidate O. Kazakova, who acquainted the audience with B. Meredov's work biography. Representing the candidate as an authoritative and responsible leader, the speaker noted his merits in the development of domestic entrepreneurship, and also described worthy personal qualities.

Then the floor was given to B. Meredov. Expressing gratitude to his fellow party members for promotion to the highest state post, he stressed that the forthcoming presidential elections in Turkmenistan are the most important event related to the future of our state, each of its citizens.

Among the priorities of his activities, he singled out the maintenance of peace and stability in the country, emphasizing the intention, based on the policy of neutrality, to pursue the peacekeeping course of the state and strengthen its international authority.

In particular, among outlined priorities of the candidate included further diversification of the economy, implementation of large-scale projects in strategic sectors: fuel and energy complex, transport and communications, agro-industrial complex, regional development. Cardinal measures will be taken to introduce innovations and state-of-the-art technologies into the national economy, Meredov said.

The candidate intends to pay great attention to the further support of entrepreneurship as an important mechanism of a market economy. As noted, today the state provides large-scale support to representatives of small and medium-sized businesses, a legal framework has been created for the successful development of entrepreneurship. Support for the non-state sector of the economy has been identified as one of the priorities of the development program of Turkmenistan for the next thirty years.

During the subsequent conversation about further development of the country, the candidate answered the questions of those present, specifying some provisions of his election platform.

B. Meredov assured the voters that in the future, relying on the fundamental principles of national democracy, the unity of society and spiritual and cultural values, he would make every effort to improve the living standards of the people, develop the national market economy and, in general, ensure that his beloved Motherland continues to flourish.

Also today, the hyakimlik of the Lebap velayat hosted a meeting of voters with a candidate for the post of President of Turkmenistan Berdymammet Gurbanov, the chief physician of the Avaza sanatorium of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan, a deputy of the Mejlis of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan.

Opening the meeting, Deputy Chairman of the Lebap Velayat Committee of the Humanitarian Association of Turkmens of the World A. Babayev gave the floor to the candidate's confidant - Chairman of the Balkan Velayat Council of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly G. Chendirov.

He acquainted the audience with the biography of Berdymammet Gurbanov, nominated to the highest state post from the initiative group of the Balkan velayat, and described him as an enterprising, responsible and experienced leader with high moral qualities, enjoying great authority and respect in the team.

As B. Gurbanov emphasized, voicing the main provisions of his election program, he intends to direct his efforts to further strengthening the heights of progress achieved over 30 years of sacred independence of our Motherland, building up economic power, and expanding equal relations with all countries of the world.

Paying special attention to the sounded parting words and proposals, the candidate answered the questions of voters, who, in particular, were interested in the prospects for the development of the industrial sector of the velayat, the agricultural sector, private entrepreneurship, social security of the population and others. In the course of an interested dialogue with the participants of the meeting, B. Gurbanov spoke about his vision of the tasks facing the Turkmen society and specific measures to address them.

In the afternoon, the voters of the eastern region of the country met with the candidate for the post of head of state - the chairman of the committee of the Democratic Party of Turkmenistan of Saparmurat Turkmenbashi etrap Maksat Odeshov, nominated by an initiative group of citizens of the Dashoguz velayat.

The meeting of voters was opened by D. Haytguliyev, an artist of the State Music and Drama Theater named after Seyitnazar Seydi, who gave the floor to the candidate's confidant, the chairman of the Union of trade unions of the Gurbansoltan eje etrap of Dashoguz velayat A. Amangeldiyev.

Introducing M. Odeshov's work biography to the audience, he described him as a responsible and decent person, an experienced and proactive leader, capable of competently solving the tasks assigned to him.

Further, speaking about the main directions of his election program, Maksat Odeshov noted that he intends to pay special attention to achieving new high goals of great transformations carried out in the country, conducting large-scale reforms in the agro-industrial complex as one of the strategic sectors of the national economy, continuing the implementation of social programs, further arrangement of cities and villages, development of education, science, culture.

During the meeting, the candidate answered questions from voters regarding the introduction of modern achievements of scientific and technological progress in the agro-industrial complex, further progress of the implementation of the national program for socio-economic development of the country, as well as the efficiency and quality of medical services provided to the population, and the improvement of the education system aimed at preparing comprehensively educated youth, the development of national culture.

M. Odeshov, expressing gratitude for the high confidence placed in him, assured the voters that he would justify him with his work for the benefit of the people, the flourishing of his beloved Fatherland.
