In accordance with the Laws of Turkmenistan “On the legal status of military personnel”, “On the internal affairs agencies of Turkmenistan” and “On insurance”, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Decree approving the Procedure for compulsory personal state insurance of military personnel, citizens called up for military training, and employees of internal affairs agencies and payment of an insured amount to them.

In the era Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, in order to turn the country into a flourishing land, further enrich its beautiful nature, as well as successfully implement the National Forest Program, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Decree instructing to ensure the planting of saplings of deciduous, coniferous and fruit trees and grapes in Turkmenistan in 2022, including:

ministries and sectoral departments, the Ashgabat City Khyakimlik to plant 1.5 million saplings;

khyakimliks of velayats - 1.5 million saplings.

The ministries, sectoral departments, khyakimliks of velayats and the city of Ashgabat were instructed to arrange the planting of saplings of fruit trees and grapes by variety in separately allocated land plots, watering saplings of deciduous, coniferous and fruit trees and grapes using drip irrigation.

The document also instructs the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment Preservation to provide the ministries, sectoral departments, khyakimliks of velayats and the city of Ashgabat with sufficient quantities of grape and three-year-old tree saplings, as well as to monitor the progress of planting and caring activities.

In order to successfully carry out the reforms ongoing in the agricultural sector of our country in the era Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, improve the performance of agricultural producers in growing high crop yields, as well as protect crops from diseases and pests, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Decree authorizing the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment Preservation to conclude contracts with relevant foreign companies for the purchase of chemicals for the treatment of 2022 wheat crop to control dicotyledonous weeds, pests, rice weeds, and the treatment of 2022 cotton crop, including against locusts.

In order to effectively fulfill the production potential of enterprises of the Ministry of Textile Industry, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Decree authorizing the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment Preservation to sell cotton to the Ministry of Textile Industry at the appropriate prices for industrial processing the required quantity of medium-staple cotton, ELS cotton from the State Reserve Stock of Turkmenistan, as well as medium-staple cotton, ELS cotton and short-staple cotton linters owned by the Ministry.

In accordance with the Law of Turkmenistan “On Space Activities”, in order to streamline the provision of spacecraft transponders to legal entities and individuals, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Decree approving the Procedure for the provision of spacecraft transponders to legal entities and individuals.

In order to further effectively implement the foreign policy of neutral Turkmenistan, develop and strengthen relations of our country with foreign states and international organizations, take active participation in the implementation of large-scale long-term projects and programs adopted within the framework of the United Nations and other international organizations, protect the state interests of Turkmenistan, rights and legitimate interests of citizens and legal entities of Turkmenistan abroad, the President of Turkmenistan signed the relevant Decree. According to the document, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs instructed, taking into account the basic provisions of the Program “Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State: the National program for the socio-economic development of Turkmenistan in 2022-2052”, to prepare by June 1, 2022:

proposal on the draft Concept of the Foreign Policy Course of Turkmenistan for 2023-2030;

jointly with the Ministry of Justice, proposals on the further development of the legal framework of the diplomatic service of Turkmenistan and submit them to the Cabinet of Ministers;

jointly with the Ministry of Finance and Economy, proposals on the modern development of the structure of the diplomatic service of Turkmenistan.

In accordance with the document, a Government Work Group was also established to develop the Concept of Turkmenistan’s foreign policy for 2023-2030, its members and Regulations were approved.

In order to increase the quantity of transit cargo being transported by rail through Turkmenistan, enhance the competitiveness of the country’s railway corridors in international transportation services, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Order authorizing the “Türkmendemirýollary” Agency of the Transport and Communications Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers to apply the relevant tariffs from March 1 to May 31, 2022 for transportation of containers by rail inside Turkmenistan.
