In order to successfully solve the tasks outlined in the “Program for the Development of Turkmenistan’s foreign Economic activity for 2020-2025” and “Turkmenistan’s Foreign Trade Strategy for 2021-2030”, further strengthen the potential of the state’s transport industry, develop international cooperation aimed at ensuring the implementation of large-scale strategic goals and a set of measures to improve and implement the system of state planning, unified national transport policy and legislation in this area, the President of Turkmenistan signed a resolution, having approved the Program of development of transport diplomacy of the President of Turkmenistan for 2022-2025.

The document prescribes ministries and industry departments to ensure the implementation of the measures specified in this Program.

According to the document, the Transport and Communications Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Finance and Economy, the Ministry of Adalat, the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations, the State Border Service and the Central Bank have been identified as coordinating bodies for the implementation of this Program.
