In accordance with the Code of Turkmenistan "On Land" and Decree of the President of Turkmenistan No. 14 668 dated March 18, 2016 "On the regulation of land relations in Turkmenistan", the President of Turkmenistan signed the Order, ordering to abolish the right to use land plots by legal entities, granting them land plots on the basis of agreements, as well as provide land plots for use by the relevant state enterprises and institutions.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection was instructed, together with the hyakimliks of the velayats and Ashgabat, to develop acts on the termination of the right to use land plots, as well as on the provision of land plots for use.
