Today, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held an expanded meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, during which the results of the work of the Extraordinary Commission of Turkmenistan on combating the spread of diseases, as well as priority tasks, were considered. The meeting was attended by members of the Government, the State Security Council, heads of ministries and departments, khyakims of the city of Ashgabat and velayats, representatives of the media, and other leaders.

Having announced the agenda, the leader of the nation focused on the issues of increasing the efficiency of work carried out in the country in this direction. They heard reports on the measures taken together with the specialized structures to prevent the spread of infectious diseases in connection with the onset of autumn.

During the meeting, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a number of documents on the appointment and dismissal of some leaders.

Thus, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers M. Geldinyyazov was relieved of his post for serious shortcomings in his work. S. Toylyev has been appointed to the post of Deputy Prime Minister with the simultaneous performance of the duties of the head of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan.

For serious shortcomings in his work, O. Gurbanov was dismissed from the post of Minister of Education. G.

Atayeva was appointed to the post of Minister of Education.

Among the documents signed by the head of state is the Resolution on the release of A. Gylydzhov from the post of Deputy Minister of Health and Medical Industry - Head of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service. M. Mammedov was appointed to this position and was dismissed from the post of Director General of the Directorate of Centers for Infectious Diseases.

A. Rejepov was appointed Director General of the Directorate of Centers for Infectious Diseases of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov dismissed B. Ovezov for serious shortcomings in his work from the post of chairman of the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan, appointing N. Atagarayev to this position.

In continuation of the expanded meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, the leader of the nation noted that at present the ministries and sectoral departments of the country are carrying out a lot of program work to prevent the penetration of infectious diseases into our country.

Addressing the participants in the expanded meeting, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov outlined the primary tasks that need to be addressed in the future to prevent the spread of coronavirus in our country.

Focusing on the issue of preparing proposals for limiting the current holding of mass events, the head of state pointed out the importance of joint and comprehensive work of ministries and departments in this direction.

As the head of Turkmenistan said, it is necessary to strengthen measures to prevent the penetration and spread of the coronavirus in our country, which now covers the whole world, to properly organize measures to combat this virus in ministries, sectoral departments, at enterprises, regardless of the form of ownership, to strictly observe the rules of sanitation and epidemiology, and for this to study international experience, it is necessary to analyze the relevant laws and prepare proposals for the introduction of appropriate changes and additions.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stressed the need to carry out planned work in order to ensure a normal temperature regime in organizations and enterprises, in residential buildings due to the fact that on cold autumn and winter days, the human respiratory system is more susceptible to colds, which leads to massive colds, then there is a flu outbreak. All existing boiler houses must work in a systematic manner, without interruptions.

At the enlarged meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, other issues of the state's life were considered, on which appropriate decisions were made.
