Today, events have been held in the eastern region of the country, in accordance with the program of the Week of Culture, that reveal the significance of the large-scale work carried out in Turkmenistan to preserve and study historical and architectural monuments, as well as introduce the achievements in the field of the domestic film industry.
As part of the familiarization excursions, the participants of the Culture Week in the Kerki etrap visited the Alamberdar mausoleum - one of the best examples of architecture of the XI th century in Turkmenistan and the Astana-baba memorial complex, consisting of a mosque and a tomb, the construction of which dates back to the XI th- XII th centuries. In turn, the creative landing, heading to the Farab etrap, visited the Amul fortress, the Dayakhatyn caravanserai, built about a thousand years ago on the northern section of the Great Silk Road.
This theme was reflected in the creative meetings “Arkadagly Watanda sarpalydyr sungatymyz” organized in the etrap houses of culture.
Meetings with famous poets, musicians and singers of the country, performed by folk and modern pop works, became a real gift for the local population.
The meeting with representatives of the domestic cinematography, held in the House of Culture of Turkmenabat, was aimed at widespread popularization of the achievements of independent Turkmenistan.
Turkmen cinema has a glorious history and the current generation of filmmakers, multiplying the best traditions, strives to fully use the great opportunities of this art form for the spiritual development of the people, the patriotic and moral education of youth.
The audience watched feature films and short films: the comedy "Obada bolan waka", the historical film story "Göroglynyň döreýşi", "Jeýhunyň ýakasy" the books by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov created according to the plot "Turkmenistan - the heart of the Great Silk Road", "Ene toprak" - about young rural residents and villagers and “Ülkämiň kuwwatly ganaty” dedicated to domestic aviators, “Kämillige ýol” - on a sports theme and a new cartoon “Paý”, as well as short films - winners of the “Ashgabat Spring” festival - “Meniň kakam”, “Netijekam” , "Owaz", "Actor".
At the end of the creative meeting, the participants were presented with a two-part film "Durmuş kyssalary", which tells about the fates of three friends - young warriors.
One of the sights of modern Turkmenabat, an open stage site "Türkmeniň toý döwresi", located in the immediate vicinity of an artificial reservoir in the "Bitaraplyk" park, is actively involved in the creative action that unfolded in the administrative center of Lebap velayat. Today, masters of art from Mary and Lebap velayats have been invited to enjoy the wonderful music, songs and dances of residents and guests of the city on the Amu Darya.
