To attract foreign capital to the country’s economy, to provide state support to small and medium-sized businesses in the epoch of power and happiness, and to render financial assistance to the private sector, the President of Turkmenistan has signed a relevant Resolution. The document authorizes the State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs to conclude with the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector a three-year supplemental Wakala Financial Agreement (with an annual interest rate of 4.5 percent, and a grace period of up to 6 months) to the three-year SWAP contract in order to finance SME projects, as well as to follow the proper procedures to put it into effect.

To implement the Credit Agreement on financing the multipurpose 10-MW power plant project in Serdar etrap, Balkan velayat, concluded between the Government of Turkmenistan and the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development in accordance with the Presidential Order No. 1441 of June 9, 2021, the President of Turkmenistan has signed a Resolution authorizing the State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs to carry out the established procedures required to bring into force and manage the 15-year Credit Agreement (with an annual interest rate of 4 percent and a grace period of 3 years) between the Government of Turkmenistan and the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development.

The document also prescribes the Ministry of Energy to conclude an internal 15-year Credit Agreement (with an annual interest rate of 4.5 percent and a grace period of 3 years) with the State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs.

To boost the worldwide popularity of our heavenly horses, the Turkmen people’s national pride and treasure, in the epoch of power and happiness, to promote the large-scale development of equestrian sports, and to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the country’s sacred independence with a high degree of organization, the President of Turkmenistan has signed a Resolution authorizing the Türkmen Atlary State Association to conclude a contract with individual enterprise Nur Bina Gurluşyk for carrying out complete renovations to the International Akhalteke Equestrian Complex.

Under the contract, the project implementation terms are June 2021 - September 2021.

To protect maternal and child health in the epoch of power and happiness, to maintain their spiritual and physical health, and to further improve their health and life expectancy, the President of Turkmenistan has signed a Resolution approving the 2021-2025 ‘Healthy Mother – Healthy Child – Healthy Future’ National Maternal and Child Health Protection Strategy and the Plan of Action. The Interdepartmental Coordinating Commission has been established to implement the above-said National Strategy and its membership has been approved.

The document prescribes ministries, sectoral agencies, and velayat and Ashgabat khyakimliks to ensure the implementation of the Plan.

To foster the partnership between Turkmenistan and the Kyrgyz Republic, to enhance the trade-economic, scientific-technological and cultural-humanitarian ties, the President of Turkmenistan has signed a Resolution approving the Turkmen side’s membership of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Kyrgyz Commission for Trade-Economic, Scientific-Technological and Humanitarian Cooperation.
