The President of Turkmenistan has signed the Resolution assigning the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment Protection, administrations of Balkan and Mary Regions to provide the production of 224,000 tons of sugar beet in the districts of the above-mentioned regions in 2021 using scientifically based crop rotation according to agricultural requirements.

the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment Protection to enter into contracts with producers of sugar beet including for provision of seasonal works for preparation of land to sowing of this crop, provision of seeds, water and fertilizers as well as procurement of the yield at agreed prices.
