The capital’s Mizan Center has hosted a grand ceremony to honor creative professionals awarded the honorary titles of Turkmenistan and to present the winners of the Türkmeniň Altyn Asyry Competition (open to literary and cultural figures, art workers, young performers, and gifted children) with the President’s Prize. The fact that this year the important event is timed to coincide with Cultural and Art Workers and Magtymguly Pyragy’s Poetry Day, which is widely observed in our country, added an extra layer of excitement and charm to the occasion. The Presidential Decree on awarding honorary titles and the Resolution on awarding the winners of the nationwide Türkmeniň Altyn Asyry Competition were read out during the event. Leaders of ensembles, poets, writers, singers, musicians, performing artists, media professionals, among others, took to the stage in turns to accept their awards. The awardees expressed their gratitude to the Turkmen leader for providing everything necessary for their productive work and professional development. The event was followed by a festive concert featuring performers, young singers and the country’s best ensembles.
