Among the main events of the third day of the Week of Culture held in the Dashoguz Velayat were opening of the exhibition of printed materials, a thematic scientific conference, a play of Nurmuhammed Andalib Musical and Drama Theater and a concert. The conferences held in the Dashoguz Velayat Library brought together library specialists and journalists. The exhibition of printed materials was organized in the foyer of the library. The book “Türkmen alabaýy” by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov occupied a special place in the exposition. Specialists from the libraries in Ashgabat and other regions of the country joined the conference through a videoformat. The conference participants exchanged views on the development of library science in Turkmenistan. The conference participants emphasized the importance of videoconference meetings, popularization of electronic books, as well as discussed the priority tasks of library branches in rural areas. In the afternoon, folklore groups arranged a festive performance in the picturesque place ""Derek"". Within the framework of the cultural forum, the Dashoguz Musical and Drama Theater named after Nurmuhammed Andalib arranged the premiere of the play “Goly sazly, tili sözli Görogly” based on the famous epos “Gorogly”. The new play tells about the traditions of good neighborliness and peacemaking, the mental values of the Turkmen people in the language of art. The concert of the country's masters of arts completed the programme of events on the third day of the Week of Culture-2020.
