Turkmenistan participates in video conference under the UNESCO aegis

Video conference under the UNESCO aegis has been held with participation of heads of cultural sphere from more than two hundred countries of the world. measures for support of cultural facilities under the global pandemic have been discussed at the session. Turkmen side informed that there is no threat of spreading of dangerous infection in Turkmenistan due to timely measures taken by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and where large-scale work for prevention of this disease is carried out like in the rest of the world. Therefore, cultural facilities like museums, libraries, concert halls are open for visitors without and there are no limitations in this direction. In addition, work for organization of various cultural international events is carried out in online mode. International photo exhibition and conference “Neutrality of Turkmenistan: Guarantee of peace and prosperity”, which is to be held in the Museum of Visual Arts in May, is one of the nearest events. As of today, photographers from 12 countries expressed their wish to take part in the exhibition.
