Opening ceremony of the Days of Culture of the Republic of Armenia in Turkmenistan was held in Ashgabat. It was forestalled by the meeting with official delegation of friendly country, which took place in the Ministry of Culture, during which perspectives of Turkmen – Armenian cooperation in cultural and humanitarian sphere have been discussed. Official opening ceremony of the Days of Culture of the Republic of Armenia was held in the Mukams Palace of the State Cultural Centre, which gathered representatives of art and cultural personnel, diplomatic missions accredited in Turkmenistan, mass media and youth. Deputy Ministers of both countries addressed the participants of events with greeting speech, having highlighted that current friendly relations allow improving multidimensional partnership successfully. The participants expressed gratitude to the leaders of Turkmenistan and Armenia for the policy aimed at strengthening of humanitarian dialog and better understanding between Turkmen and Armenian peoples. The concert of Erevan State Chamber Choir, which programme included the works from the treasury of Armenian and world music classics, took place after official part of the ceremony. Exhibition of the Armenian National Gallery in the Museum of Visual Arts, meeting with specialists of Teryan Cultural Centre in the State Art Academy and demonstration of movies of Armenian directors took place under the Days of Culture.
