Last week, the capital’s expo-center «Sergiköşgi» hosted the building materials industry exhibition of the Republic of Turkey, which was organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan in association with the Turkish Company “Meridyen”. The grand ceremony of the exhibition opening was attended by members of the Turkmen government and heads of Mejlis, ministries and departments, the heads of diplomatic representatives and missions accredited to Turkmenistan, and representatives of public organizations and mass media community. A large delegation of business people from different cities of the Republic of Turkey, including Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Mersin, and so forth, arrived in the Turkmen capital to take part in the exhibition. All in all, about 140 companies and entrepreneurs presented their products and services at the exposition. Among the Turkish firms, which are interested in expansion of cooperation with Turkmenistan, were such companies, as «Assan panel», «Geoteknik», «Aksan steel», «NetralElectrik», «HidayetÇelik», «DeneimMakina», and others. The vast exposition has demonstrated technical innovations of the leading Turkish manufacturers that are engaged in production of building materials, finishing and decoration materials for residential and office buildings, and enterprises. The companies’ originally decorated pavilions demonstrated a vast and varied assortment of goods and products of the building materials industry, notably - the metalware elements, roofing, finishing, decoration and insulating materials, “sandwich” panels, and sanitaryware items, electric wiring, lighting and sanitation equipment, formwork systems, including the fillings for tunnels, and stained-glass windows and doors with special heat-insulating properties. Special outdoor areas were allocated for exhibiting specialized equipment - from the transformers to concrete-mixing machines. On display were also the materials and products produced by the local businessmen who cooperate with the Turkish companies in such spheres, as logistics, construction sector and production of building materials, as well as in finishing of facades and interior decoration of new buildings. Large domestic and foreign companies working at the Turkmen market regarded the exhibition as a good opportunity to get acquainted with the advanced technologies, as well as to discuss with their Turkmen colleagues new offers for expanding cooperation in the production of building materials and equipment, and to make the interest-based contracts with the Turkish developers and suppliers.
