Magtumguly National Music and Drama Theatre held the concert of French instrumental duet “Mensch”. Sparkling art holiday was held under the aegis of the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan and the Embassy of France to our country. Turkmenistan actively implements the Concept of improvement of teaching of foreign languages, which was another important step toward the development of national education sphere. Language policy, which is oriented on the study of t languages of different nations of the world by school and university students including by learning their cultures, is important component of declared innovative reform. Concerts of foreign art masters systematically organized in our country are one of numerous examples of successful realization of educational policy of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. Professional French musicians – accordionist Alexis Kune and clarinettist Samuel Maquin, as well as Turkmen vocalist Maysa Niyzova demonstrated their skills at the stage of Magtumguly National Music and Drama Theatre. The concert was started with wonderful prelude Gnossienne No.4 of famous French composer Erik Satie. Initially made for piano, the composition was played by accordion and clarinet, having raised enthusiastic response of the public. Other compositions were also filled with fine lyricism. The audience welcomed Maysa Niyzova with applauses. She performed the song that made famous French singer Édith Piaf and loved by the most of us “Padam, padam...” The performance of the world famous “Under Paris Sky” was the crown of the evening. The audience awarded the artists with the storm of applauses and with “Bravo!” shouts. Lyrical song «Mon amant de Saint-Jean» was the final accord of celebration concert. After, the musician played several improvisations after numerous requests of the audience.
