On the occasion of Science Day, an awards ceremony has been held in a conference hall at Magtymguly Turkmen State University to honor the Young Scientists Competition winners. The contest was co-organized by the Academy of Sciences and the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization.

Turkmenistan widely observed the World Bicycle Day, which was instituted by the United Nations General Assembly by the initiative of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

During the solemn ceremony, the official representative of the Guinness World Records congratulated President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the people of Turkmenistan on the World Bicycle Day and reported that on June 1, 2019, a new Olympic world record was set in the Olympic Village - the longest cycling parade along one line.

Turkmenistan celebrates the World Bicycle Day, declared by the Resolution of the United Nations General Assembly on the initiative of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. This is a vivid evidence of the high appreciation and recognition of the success of the efforts taken by the President of Turkmenistan in the development of sports and health-improving movement, the establishment of the ecological world outlook in society as the basis for sustainable development at the national level and in the global dimension.

Congratulating countrymen on this wonderful holiday, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that children, which we are proud of and love, is a generation, which is to improve the authority of the country in the world arena”.
