The President of Turkmen State addressed the compatriots with greetings on occasion of International Children Day.

On the eve of International Children’s Day, President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov held a working meeting with the participation of some members of the Cabinet of Ministers, the Chairperson and the heads of Mejlis committees, and also a number of ministries and public organizations. Issues of implementation of the country’s political course, aiming at the comprehensive development and education of the young generation were put on an agenda.

President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah al-Sisi sent the letter of sincere congratulations to the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov on the beginning of the holy month of Oraza.

The king of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud directed a letter to President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov to express on his personal behalf, on behalf of the people and the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia the best congratulations and sincere wishes to Turkmenistan on the beginning of the holy month of Oraza.

International Energy Charter Forum ""Towards Multilateral Framework Agreement for the Transit of Energy Resources"" has finished its work in Ashgabat. The agenda of the forum included a wide range of issues related to the current state and prospects for the development of world energy, the formation of a new architecture for global energy security.

Secretary General of the Energy Charter Urban Rusnak supported the proposals of Turkmenistan on development of new procedures for supply of energy resources to the world’s markets, which would consider the interests of the countries producing energy, consumers and transit countries.

Ashgabat’s hosting the International Energy Charter Forum “Towards a Multilateral Framework Agreement on Transit of Energy Resources” is an important step towards creating an instrument that would facilitate the groundwork of the global energy partnership that considers the interests of producers, transit parties and consumers of energy resources.

The participants of the forum “The Way to Multilateral Framework Agreement on Transit of Energy Sources” were greeted by Vice-President of European Commission Maros Sefcovic over the video call.

Representatives of profile government structures, competent international organizations, industrial sector and scientific institutions take part in the meeting held under chairmanship of Turkmenistan in the Conference of the Energy Charter in 2017.
