President of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, held the regular session of the Cabinet of Ministers where the outcomes of work in the sectors of the national economy in the past five months have been reviewed, and several draft documents discussed.

President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the Country Army General Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held the session of the State Security Council, which agenda included the outcomes of work of military and law enforcement departments for five months of the year.

The 49th meeting of the Ad Hoc Working Group on the Convention on Legal Status of the Caspian Sea at the level of deputy foreign ministers of Caspian states opened in Ashgabat. The meeting was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the State Enterprise for the Caspian Sea Affairs under the President of Turkmenistan.

The relevant Decrees were signed by the head of state at a meeting of the State Security Council of the country on the work results of military and law enforcement agencies for five months of 2017. Thus, Presidential Decrees confirmed the following appointments:

President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov has received congratulations on the beginning of the holy month of Oraza from President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Hassan Rouhani, President of the Republic of Iraq Fuad Masum, King of Morocco Mohammed VI, Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Yousef bin Ahmad Al-Othaimeen, and Chief Executive of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Dr. Abdullah Abdullah.

The President of Turkmen State addressed the compatriots with greetings on occasion of International Children Day.

On the eve of International Children’s Day, President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov held a working meeting with the participation of some members of the Cabinet of Ministers, the Chairperson and the heads of Mejlis committees, and also a number of ministries and public organizations. Issues of implementation of the country’s political course, aiming at the comprehensive development and education of the young generation were put on an agenda.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov conveyed his deep sympathies to President of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mohammad Ashraf Ghani on the occasion of terrorist attack in Kabul entailing numerous human losses and injuries.

President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah al-Sisi sent the letter of sincere congratulations to the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov on the beginning of the holy month of Oraza.

The king of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud directed a letter to President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov to express on his personal behalf, on behalf of the people and the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia the best congratulations and sincere wishes to Turkmenistan on the beginning of the holy month of Oraza.
