President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has received President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of the Republic of Turkey Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu. Appreciative to the head of state of the audience, the guest highlighted that Turkish partners are proud of constructive cooperation with our country and a number of successfully completed and ongoing joint projects. The head of state stressed that Turkmenistan with its consistent policy of peace and broad international cooperation is always ready and willing to consider new proposals from its foreign partners. In this context, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted with satisfaction the fruitful character of business contacts with Turkish companies. During the meeting, the head of state and his guest exchanged their opinions on prospects for further cooperation with its enormous untapped potential. A detailed discussion also focused on the status of projects being implemented by Turkish partners. One of them is the glass and glass products manufacturing enterprise in Ovadandepe; its building contractor is Turkish company Tepe Türkmen Inşaat ve Ticaret A.Ş. The construction of the large production facility, which is without equal in the region and is tooled with the latest equipment and cutting-edge technologies, has been fully completed by now. In this respect, the head of state emphasized that while steadily advancing on the road of industrial development, Turkmenistan counts on the building of modern industrial infrastructure, effective practical use of innovations, progressive technologies and solutions. Deeply grateful to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for the trust, the businessman confirmed the willingness of Turkey’s business community to participate further in the implementation of the ongoing massive development programs and infrastructure projects in Turkmenistan. In this context, the parties also explored the possibilities for Turkish companies to join and make their contribution to the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India transnational gas pipeline project, which has great significance for the entire region’s prosperity and sustainable development. At the end of the meeting, the guest assured that Turkish partners would continue to fulfill their commitments in a serious and responsible manner, and wished the head of state good health in the years ahead and new achievements in his noble activities.
