The President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sooronbay Jeenbekov, has arrived this morning in Turkmenistan for a state visit.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held joint session of the Government of Turkmenistan in Ak öý building in Nowruz Valley where social and economic development of the country has been reviewed.

On August 23, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov begins a state visit to Turkmenistan at President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov’s invitation.

Kurban Bayramy is one of the oldest celebrations promoting philosophical and ethical traditions of humankind, nobility and good faith of people, symbolizing the unity and creating the atmosphere of inspiration in our society. This holiday reflects the principles, which were formed for thousands of year and which were passed down from generation to generation, consistent with high mentality of our nations – peace-loving, commitment to friendship, virtue and mercy. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held regular working video conference session with the participation of the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers supervising agricultural sector as well as with the hyakims of velayats and Ashgabat city.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov sent congratulation cable to Iran Khan on occasion of his election to the post of the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, having assigned the Hyakimlik of Ashgabat to provide the devolution of six 12-storey 118-apartment living houses and eight 12-storey 81-apartment living houses located along the Olympic street to the jurisdiction of relevant ministries, departments and Ashgabat Hyakimlik for realization to the citizens of Turkmenistan.

On behalf of people of Turkmenistan and personally, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has sent sincere condolences to the United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres in relation with the death of former US Secretary General Kofi Annan.
