President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has met with President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev prior to the Summit of leaders of the IFAS founding-member states in Avaza.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has met with President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, who arrived in our country to attend the Summit of leaders of the founding member states of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea.

Today, the Summit of leaders of the founding member-states of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea opens in Avaza National Tourist Zone. Prior to the forum, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has met with President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Improvement of efficient cooperation with neighbouring countries in the region is one of key vectors of Turkmenistan foreign course. High-level talks between the Heads of Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan, during which the willingness of the sides to bring traditional friendly dialog to new level has been confirmed, are another evidence to this. This meeting is an important event in the history of Turkmen – Kyrgyz relations.

Presidents of Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan have made a statement for the press, summing up the bilateral talks.

Bilateral documents were signed following the talks between the Presidents of Turkmenistan and the Kyrgyz Republic that took place in Ashgabat today.

Cooperation in trade and economics was named one of the important tasks for Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan at the talks between President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President Sooronbay Jeenbekov, attended by the members of the Government delegations of the two countries.

Ensuring coherent Central Asian approach towards water and energy issues was outlined as one of the important aspects of regional cooperation at Turkmen-Kyrgyz summit talks in Ashgabat.

The Oguzhan Palace in Ashgabat hosted Turkmen-Kyrgyz summit talks. Presidents Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Sooronbay Jeenbekov first met one-on-one, then the talks continued in expanded format, with the members of the official delegations of the two countries.

One-on-one talks between the leaders of Turkmenistan and the Kyrgyz Republic were held at the Oguzhan Presidential Palace Complex.
