Delegation of Turkmenistan will take part in the session of Inter-Parliamentary Union as well as in the Forum of Women Parliamentarians in the State of Qatar on April 6 – 10.

On the instructions of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Chairperson of Mejlis G. Mammedova received credentials from Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria to Turkmenistan, Nikolay Yankov.

In accordance with the Action Plan on the implementation of the Concept of Turkmenistan’s Presidency over the CIS in 2019, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Resolution, authorizing the Office of the President of Turkmenistan jointly with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to organize the session of the Council of Heads of States of the CIS in Ashgabat on October 11, 2019 at the high level.

In accordance with the Action Plan on the implementation of the Concept of Turkmenistan’s Presidency over the CIS in 2019, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Resolution, authorizing the Office of the President of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs jointly with the CIS Executive Committee to organize the session of the Council of Heads of Government of the CIS in Ashgabat on May 31, 2019 at the high level.

In accordance with the Action Plan on the implementation of the Concept of Turkmenistan’s Presidency over the CIS in 2019, with the aim to develop cooperation between the states, members of the CIS in the scientific, educational, cultural and humanitarian spheres, in the sphere of arts and creativity, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Resolution, authorizing the Ministry of Culture jointly with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Education and the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan to organize the XIV Forum of CIS Creative and Scientific Intelligentsia in Ashgabat on May 15-16, 2019 at the high level.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held vide conference working session of the Cabinet of Ministers where current subjects of the state policy have been discussed and number of documents have been adopted.

To promote further cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Turkey, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a Resolution approving the membership of the Turkmen side of the Turkmenistan–Turkey Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a Decree; with a view to honoring the conscientious endeavors of the workers of the national industry and communication spheres towards developing this complex, boosting production and improving the quality of goods and services, the document prescribes the following:

The President of Turkmenistan, the President of the National Olympic Committee, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, received a letter from the President of the International Sambo Federation, Vasily Shestakov.

The delegation of our country led by Chairman of Turkmen – Japanese Group of Inter-parliamentary Friendship from Turkmen side, Deputy Hyakim of Ahal velayat Serdar Berdimuhamedov was on the working trip to Japan on March 24 – 28, where some meetings and talks have been held and bilateral documents have been signed.
