The Interdepartmental Commission of Turkmenistan on the Caspian Sea held a meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Strengthening of constructive cooperation with the EU, diplomatic relations with which have been established in February 1993, is one of the main directions of foreign course of our country, Vice-premier, Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov has noted informing the Head of the State on measures for development of cooperation between Turkmenistan and European Union.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has held regular video conference session of the Cabinet of Ministers where priority issues of the state life have been reviewed.

In accordance with the Decree of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Toyly Komekov is appointed as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Italy (Rome) and Israel.

The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution on holding “Türkmeniň Altyn asyry” contest among literary figures, workers of culture and arts, amateur young singers and gifted children.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Resolution to strengthen measures to protect public health, sanitary protection of the territory of the country and prevention of dangerous infectious diseases, as well as the implementation of Article 22¹ of the Law ""On the State Border of Turkmenistan"".

The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution authorizing the Minister of Health Care and Medical Industry to sign 2021-2025 Plan for the Purchase of Vaccines and Immunization Equipment within the framework of the ""Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of Turkmenistan and UNICEF regarding the provision of procurement services"", signed on August 28, 2015.

In order to expand cooperation with the Caspian bordering countries, as well as to coordinate the work of ministries and departments on the Caspian Sea, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, approving the membership of the Interdepartmental Commission of Turkmenistan on the Caspian Sea.

The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, authorizing the Ministry of Textile Industry to participate on a shared basis in the establishment of the Open Joint Stock Company “Mary deri-aýakgap” with 40% ownership interest.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs hosted a press conference dedicated to the historic decisions taken at the meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan on September 25.
