In accordance with the Laws of Turkmenistan ""On diplomatic service"", ""On the status of diplomatic missions of Turkmenistan in foreign states"" and ""On consular offices of Turkmenistan abroad"", as well as in order to improve the activities of diplomatic missions and consular offices of Turkmenistan in foreign countries and to ensure effective implementation of the assigned duties, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, approving the 2021expenses budget of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as the diplomatic missions and consular offices of Turkmenistan in foreign countries.

In order to develop cooperation between Turkmenistan and international organizations, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, approving the following documents:

The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, approving the Regulations on the work of the joint intergovernmental commissions on cooperation in trade, economic, scientific, technical, cultural, humanitarian and other fields established between our country and foreign states for Turkmenistan.

In order to ensure the fulfilment of Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan No. 1886 dated September 4, 2020 ""On further improvement of the work of the consular service of Turkmenistan"", the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, authorizing to reorganize the Consulate of Turkmenistan in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan (Herat) into the Consulate General of Turkmenistan in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan (Herat).

The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, approving the Concept of improving the quality of teaching STEM subjects in Turkmenistan and the Action Plan for its implementation.

In accordance with the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Italy (Rome), Toyly Komekov is appointed as the Resident Representative of Turkmenistan to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).

Let me extend my cordial congratulations on the beginning of work of international scientific conference “Neutral Turkmenistan – UNESCO: International cooperation in history and culture”, which is held in the year under slogan “Turkmenistan – Home of Neutrality” on occasion of glorious 25th anniversary of permanent neutrality of the country! I wish success to the forum, which is to popularize national heritage of Turkmen nation in the world!

Wishing to keep and strengthening friendly relations between our countries, I have made a decision to appoint MR. Luciano Galli as an Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Italy to Turkmenistan.

On December 3, the ministers of the OSCE member states held a regular session of the Council of the OSCE Member States in the videoconference format. The two-day online meeting, traditionally held at the end of the year, brought together the ministers of foreign affairs of the OSCE member states.

On December 3, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has received new Ambassador Extrordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Italy to Turkmenistan Luciano Galli, who presented his credentials to the Leader of the Nation.
