Today President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held the next digital working meeting with participation of khyakims of velayats and Ashgabat city. The issues concerning implementation of programs of socio-economic development of the country, preparation for celebration of the 30^th anniversary of sacred independence of Turkmenistan and organized conduction of seasonal agricultural work were considered.

The head of state first gave the floor to khyakim of Ashgabat city R. Gandymov who reported on the situation in the capital, the course and pace of construction of objects of different designations and the measures undertaken for further complex improvement of the city.

In particular, the head of the capital administration reported on the state of affairs of construction of a memorial complex to the great thinker of the East Makhtumkuli Fragi in the picturesque corner of the Kopet Dagh. In this context a number of sketches were shown to the leader of the nation.

The khyakim also reported on preparation for celebrations in honour of a significant date - the 30^th anniversary of independence of our Fatherland, to the forthcoming meeting of the Khalk Maslakhaty as well as an awarding ceremony for the citizens who have distinguished in their work.

In this context the head of state pointed out to the importance of completion of construction of objects in established periods and with faultless quality.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized that the dream of the outstanding Turkmen thinker and poet of a sovereign state, freedom and humanity found its embodiment today, during the present wonderful present epoch. Verses of wise Fragi full of deep meaning are our invaluable property and inspiring people into honest work and achievement of great purposes.

The head of state emphasized that the opening of the memorial complex to the great thinker of Turkmen people Makhtumkuli Fragi during preparation for celebrations on the occasion of his 300^th birthday anniversary and also in the year of celebration of the 30^th anniversary of glorious independence of our Fatherland which is held under the motto "Turkmenistan-Homeland of peace and trust" makes a special value and sense. In this connection, having noted the importance of appropriate preparation for the ceremony, the leader of the nation gave the khyakim corresponding instructions.

Then khyakim of Akhal velayat Ya. Gurbanov reported on the situation these days in the region, including in the agro-industrial sector where with effective use of agricultural machinery the harvest of cotton, defoliation and sowing of winter wheat are conducted at a high organizational level.

Summarizing the report, the head of state emphasized the importance of acceleration of the pace of the sowing campaign which lays foundation of future rich crop of wheat and "white" harvest season without loss to gather all cotton which is grown by diligent work of the daykhan.

Having placed emphasis on the priority directions of social and economic development of the velayat, the head of Turkmenistan gave the khyakim a number of instructions on providing timely and with high quality of commissioning of all constructed facilities, and also on preparation at the high level for celebrations on the occasion of the 30^th anniversary of independence of our native Fatherland and Khalk Maslakhaty meeting dated for the glorious date.

Further khyakim of Balkan velayat T. Atakhallyev reported on the works which are carried out in the region, realized measures for sowing winter grain according to norms of agro-technology. He also reported on the rates of the cotton-picking harvest season in which harvesting combines and automotive vehicles for transportation of crop of raw cotton in places of reception and ginneries are actively involved.

The digital working meeting continued with the report of khyakim of Dashoguz velayat N. Nazarmyradov who reported on the state of affairs in the northern region, seasonal agricultural campaigns, including the course of winter wheat sowing and also on preparation for the "white" harvest season which taking into account local soil climatic conditions starts here on September 15.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov charged him to take effective measures for mobilization of available resources that organized and without loss to reap the grown cotton crop from fields, to ensure its safety, timely processing and fulfilment of contractual obligations by agricultural producers of the region.

Further khyakim of Lebap velayat Sh. Amangeldiyev reported on the agricultural works carried out in eastern region of the country, including on rates of sowing winter wheat and cotton-picking campaign, the measures realized for their organized conduction, ensuring smooth functioning of equipment and creation of conditions for effective work of farmers and machine operators.

Having heard the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov indicated the need to keep under unrelenting control terms and quality of performance of all works in agricultural fields of the region with strict observance of norms and rules of agro-technology.

Then khyakim of Mary velayat D. Annaberdiyev reported on the situation in the region, including the course of winter wheat sowing and cotton-picking harvest season, ensuring smooth functioning of agricultural machinery and equipment.

Summarizing the report, the head of state emphasized need to keep under a strict control the issues connected with the sowing campaign including supply of the daykhan with full high-quality seeds, fertilizers, irrigation water.

The head of state also charged the khyakim to provide worthy preparation in the region for celebrations in honour of the 30^th anniversary of independence of Turkmenistan and the Khalk Maslakhaty meeting on which agenda important issues of further progressive development of our Fatherland will be put.

Having placed an emphasis on the solution of the priority tasks facing the agrarian and industrial complex of the velayat, as well as in general all regions of the country, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov pointed out to the significance of active introduction in production of advanced agro-technologies and achievements of branch science, stimulation of selection activity for creation of new high-yielding grades of various agricultural crops taking into account local soil climatic conditions.

The leader of the nation, addressing to participants of the meeting, also charged them to accelerate rates of preparatory work to hold festive events in honour of the glorious anniversary of independence of Fatherland at the high organizational level.

Closing the online working meeting, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov wished its participants success in the solution of responsible tasks set before them.
