Today, President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, general Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a meeting of the State Security Council. The meeting considered results of work of military and law enforcement agencies for eight months of the current year, and the priority tasks of further improvement of activity of power structures including those, connected with security of the state and stability of society, strengthening of their material base.
Minister of Defence B. Gundogdyev was first to report on results of the work which was carried out for January-August in military formations of the National army, complex measures taken for further consolidation of defence capability of the country, increase of personnel capacity of relevant divisions, the solution of social issues of the military personnel.
Separate subjects of the report became preparation for the military parade dated for the 30th anniversary of independence of Fatherland, and organization of the forthcoming recruitment campaign.
The leader of the nation also charged him to provide the high level of organization of military parade in honour of the glorious anniversary of sacred independence of our Fatherland.
Then Minister of Internal Affairs O. Hojaniyazov reported on results of the work done since the beginning of year, realized measures for prevention of offenses and observance in all corners of the country of requirements of fire safety. The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs also reported on actions within a month "Traffic safety - tranquillity of our life" for optimization of transport stream in the capital and velayats, to increase of awareness of pedestrians on traffic regulations.
Having heard the report, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country noted that this department faces such responsible functions as counteraction of crime, protection of public order and property, ensuring public safety. It is necessary to use the most effective methods and modern technologies for accurate and faultless performance of these tasks, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized, having given the minister a number of concrete instructions.
Further the chief of the State Border Service Ya. Nuryev reported on results of activity of the structure headed by him for eight months of the current year on protection of sacred boundaries of our fatherland, complex steps taken on modernization of material base of department, increase of professionalism of the military personnel.
Then Chairman of the Supreme Court G. Ussanepesov reported on results of the work, carried out for the reporting period and practical steps taken for further reforming of the national judicial system. Fulfilment of orders of the President of Turkmenistan became a separate subject of the report.
Attorney-General B. Atdayev reported on the complex measures realized for January-August in the country in the current legislation, results of inspections, which were carried out in the relevant institutions at the request of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country.
Then minister of national security G. Annayev reported on results of the work, which was carried out for the considered period, taken concrete steps on maintenance in the country of situation of stability and tranquillity and on issues of preparation of highly qualified personnel for the department.
Minister of justice B. Mukhamedov reported on activity of the department headed by him for January-August of the current year, and on the measures carried out for all-round development of national legislative base due to its reduction in compliance to the standard norms of international law.
Having heard the report, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country noted importance of continuous monitoring of the normative legal acts existing in the country for the purpose of preparation of proposal on further improvement of laws. Realization of complex steps in this direction is to promote successful advance of Turkmenistan by new boundaries of social and economic progress.
Then, Chairman of the State Customs Service M. Hudaykulyev reported on the consecutive steps realized for the specified period on improvement of activity of this structure, and fulfilment of earlier tasks given by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country. He also informed on the work, which was carried out at the customs service taking into account a present situation in the world.
Further Chairman of the State Migration Service N. Atagarayev reported on a package of measures, undertaken for eight months 2021.
Then deputy-chairman of the Cabinet, secretary of the State Security Council Ch. Amanov reported on the measures which were carried out for January-August in the establishments under his supervision on implementation of large-scale military reform initiated by the President of Turkmenistan and also on the work on strengthening of power and defence capability of National army which was carried out by military and law enforcement agencies, to increase of combat and vocational training of staff of power structures, observance of office discipline.
The report on preparation for military parade, which will pass on the 30th anniversary of sacred independence of Turkmenistan, was listened.
Summing up the meeting results, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized that on the basis of the defensive Military doctrine of the country accepted according to the peace-loving and humane state policy the material base of power structures systematically becomes stronger.
As one of our priority aspects the care of the military personnel and members of their families acts, the leader of the nation noted, having emphasized that the complex of works on increase of their welfare, to improvement of social conditions, creation of ample opportunities for faultless service and comfortable rest is carried out. The state will also undertake target measures in this direction from now on, the head of Turkmenistan stated.
At the end of the meeting the President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country wished members of the State Security Council good health, family wellbeing and achievements in their responsible service on ensuring peace and wellbeing of favourite Fatherland and its native people.
