Activation of trade and investment partnership between business circles of Turkmenistan and Europe, discussion of priority directions of cooperation and joint projects, study of new opportunities of export of national goods to European market, opening of innovative production facilities in free economic zones of our country, establishment of the contacts in communication and logistic spheres as well as development of tourism on the route of the Silk Road are the main goals of this event.

An exhibition fair entitled “Trade and Services-2018” has opened in the Expo Center of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry with 50-plus enterprises and organizations of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations exhibiting their products. Among the exponents are Türkmeneksport, Howdan-Bajygyran (a firm, specializing in cross-border trade), Ashgabat’s Markets Association, as well as manufacturing and trade organizations of the consumer’s association.

As of 25 June, cereal growers in Mary province produced nearly 265 thousand tons of grain thus fulfilling approximately 70 percent of the government procurement plan.

Balkan velayat, where the harvesting operations started on June 13, has already harvested more than 33,500 tons of wheat on over a third of the total farmland planted to the crop. The two-thirds of the cultivated crop have been harvested in the region as of June 20. More than 300,000 tons of wheat have been delivered to the receiving points of the Fatherland. The daily increase of threshed grain makes up 5,850 tons.
