At the session of the Government on September 14, Vice-premier Ch. Gylyjov reported on the measures for activation of investment activity of small and medium entrepreneurship. It was informed that more than 1,015 companies of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs work in agricultural complex. The companies make wide variety of agricultural and food production covering the requirements of the markets 597 companies for production of construction materials, textile and carpets, chemicals, metal constructions, furniture, ceramics, glass products as well as polyethylene and plastic goods are involved in the industry. The growth of export of goods is 68.7 percent comparing with the same period of 2017. In addition, the Vice-premier informed on the situation on construction sites, which are planned to be opened on occasion of the Independence Day of the country. It includes the facility for bovine hides processing with annual output capacity of 3,600 tons built in Beherden etrap, Ahal Velayat, which is provided with modern equipment for production of high quality leather. ‘Parahat’ Private Entiry together with ‘Tetra Pak’ Company has completed the project of construction of the facility for production of packed dairy products with output capacity of 16.5 million litres per year in Byuzmeyin etrap of Ashgabat. In this context, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted growing role of private sector of national economy in improvement of production of high quality import substitutive and export oriented goods. Construction and opening of the facilities provided by modern equipment and high technologies create wide opportunities for provision of Turkmenistan citizens with consumer goods as well for abundance at the food market of the country, the Head of the State highlighted.
