In order to implement Article 12 of the Law of Turkmenistan «On Industrial Safety of Hazardous Industrial Facilities», as well as to ensure the safe operation of hazardous industrial facilities, proper organisation and implementation of industrial control over compliance with industrial safety requirements, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution approving the requirements for the organisation and implementation of industrial control over compliance with industrial safety requirements.

Today, the Mukams Palace of the State Cultural Center hosted the solemn opening of the song and music festival of the Youth Symphony Orchestra of the country and the united children's choir "Music of Peace, Music of Friendship and Brotherhood".

The 25th issue of the historical, documentary, scientific and methodological journal «Türkmen arhiwi» prepared by the Main Archival Department under the Cabinet of Ministers in the Turkmen and Russian languages has been published. Popularisation of documents of the National Archival Fund of Turkmenistan (NAFT), assistance in the development of theoretical foundations of domestic archival science and coverage of achievements in this area are the main objectives of the next issue.

Today in the capital, an exhibition of carpets and carpet products was held, as well as the XXV Conference of the World Association of Connoisseurs of Turkmen Handmade Carpet Weaving timed to coincide with the Turkmen Carpet Holiday, which is annually celebrated on the last Sunday of May.
