Wide opportunities and all favorable conditions are regularly created, modern sports facilities meeting the world standards are built in Turkmenistan to hold large international sports events. Successful holding of internationally recognized sports competitions in close cooperation with international sports organizations in Olympic village in Ashgabat, particularly the V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, World Weightlifting and Kurash Championships, regional international sports competitions, as well as «Amul-Hazar 2018» international car rally are vivid evidence to this.

We firmly believe that holding of this international ice hockey tournament in modern Winter Sports Complex at the high organizational level will further increase international sports authority of Turkmenistan and contribute our country to become the land of sports, as well as to develop the ice hockey widely.

In this regard, taking into consideration that Turkmenistan became the land of sports, we firmly believe that it would be very appropriate to declare white-marble city Ashgabat as the International Sports Capital City within the framework of such prestigious interstate organization as the Commonwealth of Independent States.
