During the blessed month of Ramadan, Ogulabat Berdimuhamedova, the mother of the National Leader of the Turkmen people - our Hero Arkadag, and the grandmother of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, passed away at the age of 86. The entire Turkmen people accepted this bitter news with great sadness. With deep sorrow Turkmen people received this sad new.

Ogulabat Berdimuhamedova was born on the 15th of June in 1937 in Babarap village of Gokdepe district. She is a sensible woman who appreciates aspiration to work with love, family values very well that helped her to deal with the life challenges. She sees the meaning of life in living with principles of dignity, and in respect of the national principles that proves her wisdom.

The mother of six children, Ogulabat made a lot of efforts to bring up the best qualities in her children, to grow them up patriotic, perfect in everything, loved by everyone.

Ogulabat eje provided invaluable services in developing our national values to the modern level, in continuing the principles of our people that have passed through the centuries, in passing this great art to the next generation as a craftswoman, in training worthy students. The life of Ogulabat eje is a great school for Turkmen women.

The bright memories of Ogulabat Berdimuhamedova, who set a never-to-be-forgotten example of loyalty to the people and to the Motherland, to the family hearth, to educating the young generation based on the noblest principles, to love, protect and continue national principles and national art, will remain in our hearts forever.
