In order to effectively implement the “smart city” concept In the city of Arkadag, special attention is paid to providing city institutions with modern equipment from leading world manufacturers, bringing the level of services provided to its population in line with international standards, and issues of harmonious work, the introduction of digital systems and the latest methods, and compliance with environmental requirements.

In order to arrange the activities, carried out in the city of Arkadag, in accordance with international criteria, the high level implementation of the urban planning program, turn the city into one of the international centers, increase the number of urban residents, successfully develop it in the future, expand its area, develop transport, industry, trade, services, science, education, healthcare and construction systems taking into account the significant nature of the projects being carried out in the city, the importance of international level events to be held, and the statement of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, in accordance with paragraph 12, Article 81 of the Constitution of Turkmenistan , the Mejlis of Turkmenistan resolves:

1. To form new etraps within the city of Arkadag in accordance with the supplement and name them Kyarizek and Gorjav, and henceforth name them, accordingly, Kyarizek etrap of Arkadag city and Gorjav etrap of Arkadag city.

2. The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment Preservation of Turkmenistan shall, in accordance with the established procedure, describe the administrative boundaries of the etraps of Arkadag city.

3. Introduce appropriate amendments to the List of administrative-territorial units of Turkmenistan, approved by the Resolution of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan
